Volunteer

Volunteers are the essential force driving food banks. We aim for you to have a rewarding volunteering experience, and there are various ways to contribute:

You have the option to be ‘front of house,’ engaging with Food Bank clients, offering hospitality, and receiving training on processing their vouchers.

Alternatively, you can work in the ‘back room,’ where stock is organized, shelves are filled, and food parcels are prepared. This role can be physically demanding.

You can choose the area you prefer to work in, or receive training to cover both.
If this interests you, please fill out the form, and we will arrange for you to shadow a shift to help you decide before committing.
